A. CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

RESPONSIBILITIES

This individual will report directly to the C.E.O. in an entrepreneurial organization.  They will:

         Present at investment conferences

         Communicate and maintain excellent relationships with financial analysts

         Manage the evaluation, negotiation and structuring of potential acquisition opportunities.

         Oversee the accounting and finance functions.

         Ensure compliance with established operational policies and procedures.

         Ensure firmwide compliance with budgets

         Oversee general counsel

 

QUALIFICATIONS

         Strong presentation and communications skills.

         Ability to sell

         A proven track record of leadership in a publicly traded company.

         Strong accounting background.

         Excellent corporate development background including joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, and major strategic partnerships.

         Specific knowledge and experience in the Internet sector.

         A proven track record of operational achievement in accounting, finance, budgeting, and forecasting.

         Must be dynamic, nimble, and hands-on.

 


B. CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER/CEO

Will define, implement, and manage internal Company strategy.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

         Manage the day-to-day operations of the Company

         Streamline Company administration, analyzing process and workflow for greatest efficiency

         Oversee departmental budgets and profitability.

         Directly manage the Customer Service, Technology, Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Human Resource operations.

         Implement efficient interdepartmental communications.

         Lead and inspire the Company to achieve goals and surpass expectations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

         Strong track record of IT operational leadership in a public company environment.

         Experience building a World Class organization.

         Experience managing in an IT environment with in-depth familiarity with technical infrastructure and customer service organizations.

         Experience translating Company strategy into measurable goals and executable tactics.

         Strong leadership in people management, strategic organizational planning, and budgeting.

         Must be dynamic, high-energy, optimistic, and hands-on; a born leader.

         Must have strong personal integrity and the ability to make tough decisions quickly.

         MBA preferred; some engineering education desirable.

 


C.  SENIOR MARKETING LEADER


RESPONSIBILITIES

         Handle all media buying activities and advertising campaigns.

         Design, direct, and implement the media plan

         Ensure consistency of brand across all marketing and advertising media

         Analyze competitive landscape

         Develop and implement customer acquisition programs for Register.com�s various channels and users.

         Identify all potential marketing opportunities for Register.com, with specific attention to Return on Investment and Cost per Acquisition

         Make recommendations for new products and services for our customer base.

         Report all marketing activity, including results of marketing campaigns, which include market segmentation, brand awareness, reach, frequency, and registration activity, on a daily/weekly/monthly and quarterly basis

         Manage the Marketing Department, including Brand Manager, Database Marketing Manager and Public Relations/Communications

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

         MBA preferred

         Internet or technology experience required

         Strong leadership ability and operational expertise

         Experienced management and communication skills

         Experienced in both brand management and direct acquisition marketing

         International marketing experience preferred

 

 

 

 


D. CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

The Vice President in charge Technology will serve as the company�s lead technical officer with responsibility for all aspects of technology implementation, management of department personnel, performance and reporting.  This individual will report to the Chief Executive Officer.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

         Developing, managing and prioritizing the timeline of deliverables for technology projects and efforts at the firm.

         Locating, recruiting, interviewing, hiring, training and managing senior technical personnel and technology management

         Formalizing the policies and procedures related to the operations of the Technology department

         Ensuring high reliability, stability and security of internal and external systems at the firm including the backup and archival of all systems with off site storage on an as-needed basis

         Supporting second level customer support and technical support personnel at the firm

         Developing a shared intranet environment that supports email, contact management, project tracking and information distribution for the firm

         Procuring, maintaining and recording the firm�s hardware and software

         Minimizing employee turnover in the technology department

GOALS

         Execute and �hit the dates� on the timetable for current and future development efforts assuming management prioritization remains stable

         Hire, train and motivate development and administration teams

         Reduce Register.com employee turnover to less than 10%

         Maintain uptime for core functionality excluding scheduled downtimes according to the following metrics:

         Q1, Q2 � 99.87%, Q3 � 99.9%, Q4 � 99.95%

         Reduce Service Metrics load time of home page to less than 4.0 seconds

         Develop medium to store documentation intelligently and perform documentation audit

                     Successfully complete security audit by 3rd party organization


E.  SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR


The VP of Human Resources, will direct all aspects of HR including the development and management of programs and policies that support the rapid growth and success of the company.  The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with the ability to facilitate a visionary work culture that values and empowers each employee while driving hard toward business goals.   Must be able to execute large scale projects while successfully balancing business needs with employee expectations.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

         Direct the development and implementation of organization-wide programs, including training, performance reviews, and incentive-based compensation initiatives.

         Manage all aspects of Human Resources including recruitment, benefits, compensation, training, retention, organizational structure, employee relations, stock option administration, payroll and compliance.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

         Approximately seven years experience in a senior Human resources role with broad management responsibility, with a minimum of 3 years at the Director level.

         Demonstrated track record of challenging traditional methodologies and creating innovative programs and solutions.

         Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, high-tech industry is essential, as well as experience managing integration of acquired companies and personnel.

         Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills (with an ability to influence employees across the organization.

         High level of self-sufficiency

         Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Masters is a plus.  Must have knowledge of organizational structure and function.
